One exam down! And I gotta say, it was so much easier than I expected. Our prof is also going to be super nice with them and increase the weightings of each questions (all multiple choice). It’s a good and bad thing yes, but I’m sure of most of my answers so I’m all good. And it’ll be 120/100 in total so I’m really in the safe zone!

Second Round: ANACOMM!

Bring it on!

Phie-nahls!

I almost forgot! Haha no matter how busy/lazy I am, I will never not post up my finals schedule when it comes.

ENTHERM (Thermodynamics) - Monday, December 12 2011, 9am-12pm

ANACOMM (Analog Communications) - Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 9am-12pm

NUMMETH (Numerical Methods) - Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 9am-12pm

INDELEC (Industrial Electronics) - Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 9am-12pm

MATRENG (Materials Engineering) - Thursday. LOL.

So far, the only thing I’m really iffy about is my ENTHERM. I know I’m not going to fail, but I need to score pretty high if I want to get my grade up to a 2.0. I could be in the run for Dean’s List this term, and I really can’t have this subject bringing me down, especially with the fact that it’s not even my major lol.

Yep, ANACOMM and NUMMETH in one day. The latter was supposed to be on Friday, but since it’ll be my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary..uh…wedding, I won’t be available. And these two subjects are really intensely mental, so good luck to me there.

MATRENG? Oh yeah. Like 70% of us are exempted from the exam.

This means finals for me ends on Wednesday! That’s the shortest so far in my entire stay in DLSU hahaha

Let’s rock and roll!

Two down, two to go!

I’ve gone through two exams so far, and so far…uh…very weird, but so good. The first was my Electromagnetics exam. It was ok, not too easy, but not hard at all, though I scored pretty average because of carelessness (they posted up the answers right after). Needless to say, I didn’t fail!

Now today’s exam was hella weird. It was for my Electronics 2 class, and if you’d taken this class you’d know that it involves A LOT of circuit diagrams, which is what almost everyone was studying. Come the time the exam paper landed on our tables, there was NOTHING but objective and calculator-solvable questions. Everyone was caught off guard, especially me since I didn’t review concepts and objectives as much. Thank goodness my stock knowledge as well as memories from the lab classes helped me through. I needed a little over half of the exam to pass, which I’m pretty sure I got.

Two more to go!

What’s the problem with being the guy who brings the car?

I’m not allowed to drink much. Don’t drink and drive ^_^

BUT

What’s the good thing about being the guy who brings the car?

Front row seats to drunk people doing things that drunk people do and driving them home as they tell you some really deep stories about their love lives.

Yeee Tuesday night was pretty awesome and a great way to signal the end of our quizzes and the start of the finals rush.

Day 167 - 061611

Animo La Salle!

Centennial Day Celebrations! I really had no idea how I could sum up this whole day into one picture, so I used 10 lol (and that still ain’t enough).

It was an AMAZING day. Actually, amazing is an understatement for how AWESOMELY SURREAL the celebrations were, not to mention how much school spirit everyone had. Today being a class suspension day, I was really surprised to hear [from the faculty members themselves] that they didn’t expect students to show up for the day. I mean, how can you not want to celebrate reaching the big 100 year mark of top notch education in the Philippines?? Unless you think you can survive 100 more years to celebrate DLS’s bicentennial, then I have no idea what’s wrong with you lol.

As hot (and surprisingly rainy) as the day was, even that couldn’t stop everyone from enjoying the day. I honestly never thought I could be so into school spirit and all of that pep. What was cool was how there were three different mini-concerts happening around campus; a street party, an orchestra/poetry/chill party, and a concert made up of singers and bands who are alumni of the school! As part of the production crew I was assigned to the orchestrated one (Strings and Stanzas) to do photo coverage. I thoroughly enjoyed it; after having spent so much energy cheering and dancing and going crazy, it was a great way to wind down and let every thing soak in, and I’m also a sucker for good orchestrated music.

Everything literally ended with a bang, with hot air lanterns let loose floating in the wind, and fireworks soaring through the sky and bursting with the beauty of green and white…and pyro-engineering teehee.

I really wish I could relive the moment again…I just have to be fit enough to survive another 100 years!

Animo La Salle!

Can you believe that GMG was in charge of a lot of this? Yueeaaah
